I have been designing word clouds since I started my e-commerce business in 2012. Over the years, I have created thousands of word clouds for various occasions, including weddings, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, birthdays, and just for fun. While I wish I could provide an exact count, it's simply impossible to know. I have crafted word clouds in various shapes, such as hearts, circles, logos, and even in the form of organs like kidneys and livers, as well as shoes and houses, to name just a few. What is a word cloud?
A word cloud is a visual display of words related to a specific topic or person. The larger a word looks in the cloud, the more important it is. The size of each word shows how often it appears or how significant it is in that context.
While many use computer software to make word clouds, we prefer a hands-on approach. You give us the words and phrases, and we create the design ourselves. Each word cloud is different, with specific needs like the number of words and font styles. To make your word cloud look best, mix long and short phrases. For instance, use “loving sister” instead of just “sister,” or “wonderful employee” instead of “employee.” Short phrases work well too, like “forever and ever,” “home sweet home,” or “long walks on the beach.”
