How to Set a Table
Setting a table doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. It should be fun! We just celebrated my daughter and son-in-law's 10th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make the table pretty without costing a fortune. I chose a black and white theme because it goes with everything and because I love those colors. To make clean up easier, I decided to go with disposable plates and cups. I chose clear Chinet plates so that I could design place settings for each guest. I used a simple white tablecloth from Target and black braided round placemats from Amazon.
Next I created individual paper placemats for each person. I found chalkboard labels at Hobby Lobby which I placed on the plastic cups (also from Hobby Lobby).
I used brown paper as a table runner and left a couple of pens on the table so guests could write a special note for the couple. And last but not least, painted a couple of mason jars white and added my favorite flower - alstroemeria. I love alstroemeria because if you remember to freshen the water they will last for weeks!
Here are some additional ideas to help you set a table.
When is your next party? I hope you found some inspiration today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time...
